The art work has some sweeping curves which makes
it art deco. Also, it reflects the tension that America had

Millennial Moive Poster

URL = http://www.movieposter.com/poster/MPW-29136/Juno.html

Looks like movie is about a teenage couple still in high school and the girl is pregnant. The guy looks like he is on the cross country team at the school and the girl's shirt is the same has the background. Looks like a goofy but a serious issue movie.
Can tell the orange and white stripe background matches the pregnant teenagers shirt, makes you wonder why the shirt is so significant. Front of poster has the picture of the couple and you wonder what are they going to do. Is she really going to have the baby. Looks like a serious movie but has a cartoony color to it.
Poster looks very simple and ordinary but has a certain harmony. Looks like a Saul Bass design.

Postmodern Movie Poster

URL = http://www.movieposter.com/poster/A70-8692/Braveheart.html

Looks like the movie is about a war and a guy on the front is the hero/main character of the movie. A battle is being place in the back grown and there is a transparent picture of the main character hugging a woman.
The movie poster tries to bring people in by using the actor name Mel Gibson on the front of the poster. Makes the viewer wonder what is going on in the movie with a battle in the background and a transparent of the main character hugging a woman. Who is this woman and what does she have to do with this "war" movie?
The poster uses real images from the movie and some computer technology to make the transparent image in the poster.

Modern Movie Poster

URL = http://www.movieposter.com/poster/b70-10203/Plan_9_From_Outer_Space.html

Looks like it's about finding space martians, going into space, and finding life in outer space. The poster has pictures of an astronaut, space ships or space shuttle, and aliens.
Big red letters that says PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE draws the attention to poster and they used images that deal with outer space.
The images don't look like from the movie they look like someone drew them to reenact scenes from the movie and the color looks faded, not bright.
